Kids Surf Program 2024
Lyall Bay
Our Kids Surf program is aimed at helping local kids improve their surfing. The program offers discounted lessons and will be a great chance for kids to make friends to surf with.
Our classes are designed to progress students from beginner through to intermediate level.

Progressive surf lessons each week

All equipment included such as board and wetsuit

When:
Lessons will run every week until the end of April.
Time:
Classes will run every weekend the surf is up and after school from 4:30pm–6pm. Parents should aim to book their kids in for at least x1 lesson a week.

Lyall Bay and/or Otaki Beach
Cost:
- $296 - x4 lesson package deal (Discount rate!)
- $560 - x8 lesson package deal (Best value!!)

We will aim to run kids surf lessons on the dates below and all parents will be notified of the best days to book their lessons each week. Note: Our lessons will only run if the surf and weather conditions are suitable.
February, March & April 2024
- Weekends 2:30-4pm (Note weekend times may vary depending on tide)
- Weekdays 4:30-6pm
Important:
How the program works:
- All parents will be notified of the best days to book lessons for their kids each week via the Wellington Surf Lessons App
- You can book in each week at your convenience via the calendar.
- If your child misses a lesson during one of the program weeks you can pick up where you left off the following week.
- You have until the end of April to take all your lessons and you can start anytime. Note: We recommend you aim to have your kids attend weekly but no problem if you miss a week as you'll be able to make this up on another date.
